At the Xplosive Edge we strive to maximize athletic performance while reducing injury rates. Our base camps are designed with the athlete in mind. We work to create a foundation for future athletic movement in our Developing Edge that can be built upon in our Prep Edge groups. From the beginner athlete to the elite, our programs can be adjusted to the specific level that you are at. Our professional coaches strive to create an environment that is both enjoyable and challenging for athletes on a daily basis. Additionally we offer an Adult Edge class allowing our everyday clients to train how the athletes train. Athletic performance is great for all ages, athletes and non-athletes alike. All of our programs are based off of the Husker Power program created by Boyd Epley and Mike Arthur. We also integrate the science of Postural Restoration into all of our warmups, cool downs, and training sessions.
ADULT EDGE BASE CAMP
Designed for adults coming from any walk of life, our Adult Edge is a scientifically researched training program designed to specifically target body fat loss by increasing lean muscle mass. This is not your everyday Adult boot camp.
The Xplosive Edge will incorporate its renowned “Husker Power Principles” to get you to perform better and maximize your workouts. Emphasis is put on increasing strength, agility, range of motion, and balance as well as developing power.
Xplosive Edge staff will help you regain proper biomechanical position via breathing, strengthening, and proper activation of certain muscle groups. Nutritional analysis and Fueling tactics will be covered with each adult as well as pre and post performance and body fat testing.

PREP EDGE BASE CAMP
Prep Edge Camp is designed for athletes ages 13-18, where High School age athletes will take their performance to a new level. Devised from the principles developed out of the University of Nebraska, in the days of Husker Power, the Prep Edge Camp is designed to help youth athletes increase performance and decrease injuries.
Our Prep Edge camp trains 2-4 days per week. We utilize a hard-easy system on a 4-day split which allows athletes to perform maximally and recover optimally. All athletes will be pre and post tested at the beginning and end of each camp to see how they progressed. Every athlete will also receive a free nutrition seminar during the first week of camp based off of Dave Ellis’ Fueling Tactics Program.

DEVELOPING EDGE BASE CAMP
Designed for athletes ages 8 to 12, the Developing Edge introduces and teaches younger athletes proper running, jumping and lifting technique, as well as eye-hand coordination and balance.
This is accomplished through a variety of speed and agility drills on the field and strength and explosive exercises in the weight room.
With all emphasis on form and technique, the Xplosive Edge staff will help the developing athlete acquire proper neuromuscular recruitment patterns which lead to an overall decrease in injury and improvement in performance.

Athletes ages 8-12
PRO EDGE BASE CAMP
Designed specifically for the professional athlete, Professional Edge will help the athlete maximize their athletic performance. We have dedicated this camp to helping the pro athlete reach their highest potential.
By increasing lean muscle mass and decreasing body fat, athletes will be better suited for the demands of professional sport. Emphasis is put on increasing strength, speed, agility, range of motion, balance, and acceleration as well as developing power through Olympic weightlifting variations. Intense one-on-one instruction will help the pro athlete achieve their goals and take their game to the next level.
Pre and Post test evaluations and a comprehensive nutritional program set up by the Xplosive Edge staff will help pro athletes recover faster from exercise and boost the immune system. Nearby hotel accommodations, supplementation, and postural restoration
